Cathedral Arts Project (CAP) has just put out their 2015 formal ask to the public requesting support by donating artworks and other goods and services to their important silent auction portion of Spring for the Arts. SFTA is CAP’s iconic annual fundraiser, historically responsible for raising over 60% of their annual operating revenue.
CAP provides free instruction in visual and performing arts to 2,200 students annually in both elementary and middle schools throughout Jacksonville, specifically reaching children who live at or below poverty level.
Their programs open the eyes of children who otherwise would limit themselves to their circumstance, and instead these same kids are set free to unleash their limitless potential.
As fervent supporters of CAP, we are sharing this need with the community…asking those who can to step up with us and help.
From the offices of Cathedral Arts Project:
“From ticket and raffle sales, to live and silent auction items, CAP has a unique opportunity for you to make a contribution that gives back, as well as provide visibility for you among the greater Jacksonville audience. Nothing elevates your brand like being in the presence of great company for a great cause. Your partnership will help the Cathedral Arts Project provide free instruction in the visual and performing arts to 2,200 students each year in both elementary and middle schools throughout Jacksonville. Log on to www.capkids.org to see our program in action.
A silent auction donation form is included for your review. Please complete the form at your earliest convenience and return to firstname.lastname@example.org. The silent auction submission deadline is March 27, 2015.
We also welcome you to join us as we celebrate the 11th Annual Spring for the Arts gala on April 17th at Deerwood Country Club with over 650 of Jacksonville’s civic leaders and arts education supporters. You and the children you are helping will be so glad that you did!
If there are other meaningful ways that you would like to contribute, please do not hesitate to let CAP know.
Thank you in advance. – Kristin Livingston: email@example.com
