Unity Plaza & Partners Celebrates Life with the New Family @ United For Heroes 7K on May 25

 

United for Heroes Flag copyPlease join us for an exciting opportunity to have a team in Natalie New’s memory and Kent’s honor for the inaugural 7K race benefiting Trauma One held on Monday, May 25th at Unity Plaza in downtown JAX. We will run our 7K along the beautiful riverwalk downtown. Our community is blessed with access to such a wonderful place for critical care. 100% of the race proceeds will benefit Trauma One. This is a family friendly race so come with the kids, you can run, walk, trot or push a stroller but come JOIN US! There will be a fun free concert at the end held in beautiful Unity Plaza and tons of fun for the whole family!

Natalie New, 12, passed away on December 25, 2014 in Jacksonville.  Natalie’s enthusiasm, curiosity, talents and love will always be at the forefront of people’s memories of her. Come help us shower this incredible family who has been through the unimaginable with renewed hope and determination to fight the good fight. All who register as part of our team by May 1st will receive a bright Team NEW shirt with colorful rainbows that were Natalie’s favorite. It came to Unity Plaza’s attention that the rainbow was Natalie New’s favorite symbol, therefore in her honor, we designed a special rainbow using the UP signature mark (above).
