Mommy & Me Yoga Starting June 4 @ Unity Plaza

FullSizeRender-4Mommy & Me Yoga classes (3 months to 3yrs) are a fun way to reconnect with your body while enjoying time with your baby. It’s a great way to take part in an understanding community of other new moms, too. Dori Thomsen, Yoga Instructor, Owner of Soluna Yoga+Spa, and mother of a toddler, provides a nourishing and safe environment for Mother and baby to play. Held every Thursday at 10am.

More about the class:
Stretch, bond, and breathe with your baby in this special yoga class designed for mother and child. Meet other moms and babies while you strengthen and support your post-partum body & mind with specifically chosen asanas. Every class will devote time to gentle and strengthen poses, done together between mother and child. Bonding and playful poses are also explored. Moms that are breastfeeding are encouraged to attend. Sorry dads, this class is dedicated to moms uniting. Soluna Yoga+Spa offers Daddy and baby bonding classes as well. Please contact the studio to find out more. Yoga mat (limited number of mats provided)
Water
Diaper bag full of the usual treats (snack, drink, comfort toys & blanket)

Unable to attend Unity Plaza’s Thursday morning class? No problem. Mommy & Me Yoga will be offered once a month, on a Saturday, at Soluna Yoga+Spa in Avondale, for moms that are not able to attend on Thursdays at Unity Plaza.
